Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 415:6-d

  • insured: as used in this chapter , shall not be construed as preventing a person other than the insured with a proper insurable interest from making application for and owning a policy covering the insured or from being entitled under such a policy to any indemnities, benefits and rights provided therein. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 415:6
Upon issuing any individual health insurance policy providing hospital, medical-surgical or major medical benefits, an insurer shall offer the insured the option of including a maternity benefits rider if maternity care is not covered under the policy. Nothing in this section shall be construed to apply to supplemental health insurance and disability insurance policies.
