Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 526:6
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Execution on the original judgment shall not be stayed by reason of a new trial; but the court, on motion, may order a stay of execution upon such terms as it thinks fit.
