Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 606:5

  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
The jury impanelled to try any criminal case may be kept separate from all other persons during the trial, if, upon cause shown, the court shall so order, and not otherwise.
