Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 612:8
- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The warrant issued pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 612:7 shall authorize the peace officer or other person to whom it is directed to arrest the accused at any time and any place where he may be found within the state, to command the aid of all peace officers or other persons in the execution of the warrant, and to deliver the accused, subject to the provisions hereof, to the duly authorized agent of the demanding state.
