Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 651:24

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
Any person released under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 651:19 or N.H. Rev. Stat. § 651:19-a, or ordered confined under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 651:20 or 21 who willfully fails to report as ordered shall be deemed to have escaped from the institution to which he has been sentenced and upon conviction shall be subject to the punishment provided for escape therefrom.
