Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 656:37
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
Whenever a question to voters related to a proposed constitutional amendment is placed on a separate ballot as provided in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 663:3, the question shall also be placed on a separate absentee ballot to be included with each absentee ballot other than federal offices only absentee ballots.
