There shall be no liability on the part of and no cause of action of any nature shall arise against any member insurer, the association or its agents or employees, the board of directors, or the commissioner or his representatives for any action taken by them in the exercise and performance of their powers and duties under this article.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 33-26-17
- Association: means the West Virginia Insurance Guaranty Association created under section six of this article. See West Virginia Code 33-26-5
- Commissioner: means the Insurance Commissioner of West Virginia. See West Virginia Code 33-26-5
- Member insurer: means any person who: writes any kind of insurance to which this article applies under section three of this article, including farmers&rsquo. See West Virginia Code 33-26-5
