The association may recommend a natural person to serve as a special deputy to act for the commissioner and under his or her supervision in the liquidation, rehabilitation or conservation of any member insurer.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 33-26A-13
- Association: means the West Virginia Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association created under §. See West Virginia Code 33-26A-5
- Commissioner: means the Insurance Commissioner of West Virginia. See West Virginia Code 33-26A-5
- Member insurer: means any insurer or health maintenance organization licensed or which holds a certificate of authority to transact in this state any kind of insurance or health maintenance organization business for which coverage is provided under §. See West Virginia Code 33-26A-5
- Person: means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, association, or voluntary organization. See West Virginia Code 33-26A-5
