Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 9 Sec. 2747

  • Secretary: means the Secretary of the Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets or his or her designee. See
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States may apply to the District of Columbia and any territory and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See
  • weight: as used in this chapter in connection with any commodity shall mean net weight. See

§ 2747. Reciprocal acceptance of weight certificates

Whenever in any other state that licenses public weighmasters, there is statutory authority for the recognition and acceptance of the weight certificates issued by licensed weighmasters of this State, the Secretary may recognize and accept the weight certificates of that other state.
