- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
- State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See
§ 4134. Pleading
In a derivative action, the complaint shall state with particularity:
(1) the date and content of plaintiff‘s demand and the response to the demand by the other members or the managers; or
