Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 18 Sec. 5363

  • Cemetery: means any plot of ground used or intended to be used for the burial or permanent disposition of the remains of the human dead in a grave, a mausoleum, a columbarium, a vault, or other receptacle. See
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.

§ 5363. Penalty

A selectboard member, cemetery commissioner, or trustee, who violates a provision of this chapter, or willfully neglects any of the duties imposed by this chapter, for which other penalties are not provided, shall be fined not more than $200.00. (Amended 1989, No. 142 (Adj. Sess.), § 11.)
