Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 32 Sec. 901

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States may apply to the District of Columbia and any territory and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See

§ 901. Borrowing money

The Treasurer shall not make a contract binding the State for money borrowed unless it is countersigned by the Secretary of State. (Amended 2007, No. 121 (Adj. Sess.), § 27.)
