- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Discovery: Lawyers' examination, before trial, of facts and documents in possession of the opponents to help the lawyers prepare for trial.
- Event data recorder: means a feature that is installed by the manufacturer of a motor vehicle and does one or more of the following for the purpose of capturing data for retrieval after a crash:
