1. Liquor prohibited. A licensee or registrant may not conduct “beano” or “bingo” in the same room where liquor is sold, served or consumed during the period of one hour before the conduct of the games.

Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 17 Sec. 320

  • Licensee: means any organization, including a federally recognized Indian tribe in the State, that has been granted a license by the Gambling Control Unit to hold, conduct or operate "Beano" or "Bingo. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 17 Sec. 311
  • Period: means the number of calendar weeks authorized by a single license for the operation of "Beano" or "Bingo. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 17 Sec. 311
  • Registrant: means a person or organization registered with the Gambling Control Unit to hold, conduct or operate beano games for which a license is not required. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 17 Sec. 311
2. Disorderly persons prohibited. A licensee or registrant may not permit a disorderly person to enter or remain within the room or area where “beano” or “bingo” games are being conducted.

3. Penalty. A person who violates this section commits a civil violation for which a fine of not more than $1,000 may be adjudged.
