- Real estate: includes lands and all tenements and hereditaments connected therewith, and all rights thereto and interests therein. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
The commissioner may accept, hold, administer, retain and dispose of interests in real estate in order to further the purposes of this Title. [PL 2001, c. 548, §3 (AMD).]
