Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 9-B Sec. 841
- Credit union: means a cooperative, nonprofit corporation organized pursuant to Part 8, or under corresponding provisions of any earlier law, and subject to the conditions and limitations as shall be set forth in Part 8. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 9-B Sec. 131
The management and operations of a credit union must be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Title 13-C, except as provided in this chapter and elsewhere in this Part. [RR 2001, c. 2, Pt. B, §16 (COR); RR 2001, c. 2, Pt. B, §58 (AFF).]
