30-10-910. Misleading filings. It is unlawful for a person to knowingly make or cause to be made a materially false or misleading statement in any document filed with the state auditor or in any proceeding under this part.
Terms Used In Montana Code 30-10-910
- Knowingly: means only a knowledge that the facts exist which bring the act or omission within the provisions of this code. See Montana Code 1-1-204
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, association, joint-stock company, or unincorporated organization. See Montana Code 30-10-903
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
