32-9-209. Rulemaking. The department shall adopt rules necessary to carry out the intent and purposes of this part. In adopting rules under this part, the department shall use the final model state regulatory prudential standards for nonbank mortgage servicers in effect at the time of rulemaking as published by the conference of state bank supervisors.
Terms Used In Montana Code 32-9-209
- Department: means the department of administration provided for in 2-15-1001, acting through its division of banking and financial institutions. See Montana Code 32-9-201
- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
