50-19-201. Definitions. As used in this part, the following definitions apply:
Terms Used In Montana Code 50-19-201
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Department: means the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201. See Montana Code 50-19-201
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
(1)”Department” means the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201.
(2)”Newborn” means an infant under 28 days of life.
(3)”Person” means an individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, or other entity, whether organized for profit or not.
