72-40-119. Jurisdiction over trust director. (1) By accepting appointment as a trust director of a trust subject to this part, the director submits to personal jurisdiction of the courts of this state regarding any matter related to a power or duty of the director.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
(2)This section does not preclude other methods of obtaining jurisdiction over a trust director.
