75-20-405. Action to recover damages to water supply. An owner of an interest in real property who obtains all or part of the owner’s supply of water for domestic, agricultural, industrial, or other legitimate use from a surface or underground source may sue a person to recover damages for contamination, diminution, or interruption of the water supply proximately resulting from the operation of a facility. The remedies enumerated in this section do not exclude the use of any other remedy that may be available under the laws of the state.
