- Applicable purchasing agency: shall mean the Division of Administration of the state except as provided in La. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 39:1763
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- State: means the state of Louisiana, and for purposes of execution of equipment-lease-purchase contracts, the Division of Administration of the state, which shall be considered the lessee for all applicable purchasing agencies for the purposes of this Chapter.
