The legislative auditor may examine and audit the books and accounts of any fund established under the provisions of this Chapter pursuant to the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 24:513. In addition, each participating affiliate or subsidiary of a local housing authority member at its cost may cause an examination and audit by its representatives of any self-insurance funds in which it participates pursuant to this Chapter.
