Whenever, pursuant to ORS Chapter 180, the Attorney General is requested to represent a judge of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Oregon Tax Court or circuit court and declines to do so, the judge may, subject to the provisions of ORS § 30.260 to 30.300 and 30.310 to 30.400, employ private counsel as provided under ORS § 1.560.
