(1) Support orders in respect of obligees not subject to ORS § 25.020 may provide for payment under the order to a checking or savings account or by electronic transfer to an account maintained by an escrow agent, licensed under ORS § 696.511, for distribution to the obligee, if the obligor and obligee have so elected or if the court in its discretion believes that payment to a checking or savings account or payment by electronic transfer to an account maintained by a licensed escrow agent will be in the best interest of the parties.
