For purposes of ORS § 65.803 to 65.815:
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 65.800
- Entity: means a domestic corporation, foreign corporation, business corporation and foreign business corporation, profit and nonprofit unincorporated association, corporation sole, business trust, partnership, two or more persons that have a joint or common economic interest, any state, the United States, a federally recognized Native American or American Indian tribal government and any foreign government. - Person: means an individual or an entity. See Oregon Statutes 65.001
(1) ‘Hospital’ means a hospital as defined in ORS § 442.015.
(2) ‘Noncharitable entity‘ means any person or entity that is not a public benefit or religious corporation and is not wholly owned or controlled by one or more public benefit or religious corporations. [1997 c.291 § 2; 2001 c.104 § 20; 2009 c.595 § 56; 2009 c.792 § 29]
