As used in ORS § 131.205 to 131.235, ‘this state’ means the land and water and the airspace above the land and water with respect to which the State of Oregon has legislative jurisdiction. [1973 c.836 § 13]

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
