In any suit authorized by ORS § 223.610, it shall be a sufficient allegation of jurisdictional facts authorizing the local government to make and levy any lien if the complaint alleges in general terms that the local improvement was made in the manner and as provided by law, by the local government’s charter, ordinances, resolutions, or any of them, relating to such local improvement. It is not necessary to specifically set forth in the complaint any such charter provisions, ordinances or resolutions. [Amended by 1991 c.902 § 74; 2003 c.802 § 49]

- Allegation: something that someone says happened.
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- local government: means all cities, counties and local service districts located in this state, and all administrative subdivisions of those cities, counties and local service districts. See Oregon Statutes 174.116
