A member of the Employment Relations Board shall be removable by the Governor only for cause, after being given a copy of charges against the member and an opportunity to be heard publicly on such charges before the Governor. A copy of the charges and a transcript of the record of the hearing shall be filed with the Secretary of State.

- Transcript: A written, word-for-word record of what was said, either in a proceeding such as a trial or during some other conversation, as in a transcript of a hearing or oral deposition.
