(1) For the purposes of ORS § 276.420 to 276.440, ‘office quarters’ means office space, office buildings and related service, storage and parking facilities and may also include factory built, modular or portable units.

- Department: means the Oregon Department of Administrative Services. See Oregon Statutes 276.001
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
(2) Where any agency does not have authority by law to enter into a lease or rental agreement for office quarters, the Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall have authority, with the approval of the agency, to enter into a lease or rental agreement on behalf of the agency.
