(1) For the purpose of implementing the provisions of ORS Chapter 329A, the Department of Early Learning and Care shall comply with the rules of the Early Learning Council and may act through any division or office of the department.
(2) The department may maintain information about child care facilities and providers through electronic records systems.
(3) Except as otherwise prohibited by state or federal law, the department may share information with other public entities when the department determines that sharing the information would support the health or safety of children in child care.
