The education service district board may include in its own budget, adopted pursuant to ORS § 334.240, an emergency aid fund for use, at the discretion of the board, in aiding school districts within the education service district with emergency expenses unforeseen at the time of making the budget of such districts. The emergency aid fund shall not exceed five percent of the combined budget of all districts included in such education service district. [1957 c.678 § 15(2); 1965 c.100 § 198]
