(1) When an individual with an occupational handicap is to be trained as an apprentice as defined in ORS § 660.010, or in a trade or craft for which training standards are established under ORS § 660.002 to 660.210, the training is subject to the provisions of ORS § 660.002 to 660.210, and shall be under the jurisdiction of the State Apprenticeship and Training Council in cooperation with the Department of Human Services.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
