Any individual applying for or receiving vocational rehabilitation who is aggrieved because of the Department of Human Services’ decision or delay in making a decision shall be entitled to appeal to the department, and opportunity for hearing as a contested case shall be accorded as provided in ORS Chapter 183. - Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
