(1) The portion of State Highway 126 that is known as the Eugene-Springfield Highway, beginning where the highway intersects with West 6th Avenue and West 7th Avenue in Eugene and ending where the highway intersects with Main Street in Springfield, shall also be known as the Officer Chris Kilcullen Memorial Highway.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 366.919

  • Department: means the Department of Transportation. See Oregon Statutes 366.005
  • Highway: means every public way, road, street, thoroughfare and place, including bridges, viaducts and other structures within the boundaries of this state, open, used or intended for use of the general public for vehicles or vehicular traffic as a matter of right. See Oregon Statutes 366.005

(2) The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain suitable markers along the highway described in this section that indicate the designation of the highway as the Officer Chris Kilcullen Memorial Highway. [2011 c.570 § 1; 2023 c.9 § 22]
