(1) The Department of Human Services shall develop a plan for incorporating family support consultants into a percentage of cases managed within the department. The consultants shall work directly with families to develop support in a manner consistent with the family support policies under ORS § 417.340 to 417.348 and 417.349.
(2) The department shall consult with the Family Support Advisory Council established under ORS § 417.346, to develop protocol and training consistent with the family support policies under ORS § 417.340 to 417.348 and 417.349. [1995 c.486 § 3; 2001 c.900 § 245]
