(1) There is created within the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund, the Spinal Cord Injury Research Fund administered by the Spinal Cord Injury Research Board. Moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated for the purpose of carrying out ORS § 431A.505.

  • State Treasury: includes those financial assets the lawful custody of which are vested in the State Treasurer and the office of the State Treasurer relating to the custody of those financial assets. See Oregon Statutes 174.100

(2) The Spinal Cord Injury Research Fund shall consist of:

(a) Moneys appropriated to the fund by the Legislative Assembly; and

(b) Moneys obtained from gifts or grants by any public or private source received by the board under ORS § 431A.505 (3). [Formerly 431.294]
