Oregon Statutes 433.332 – Investigation and control of reported cases; rules
The Oregon Health Authority shall, upon receiving a report that any person has tuberculosis, make such investigation of the case as is necessary to determine whether or not the person reported has communicable tuberculosis. Upon finding that any person has communicable tuberculosis, the authority shall exercise such control over the affected person and contacts with other persons as may be necessary for the protection of the public health, pursuant to its rules and regulations. In exercising such control over any person who has communicable tuberculosis the authority may make such rules or orders governing such person’s conduct as are necessary to prevent the spread of the disease.
