If the Secretary of State refuses to file a document delivered to the Office of the Secretary of State for filing, the corporation, in addition to any other legal remedy that may be available, shall have the right to appeal from such order pursuant to the provisions of ORS § 183.480.   • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
