(1) Violation of ORS § 561.170 is a Class C violation.

Under the Oregon Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |

Class A misdemeanor | up to 364 days | up to $6,250 |
Class C misdemeanor | up to 30 days | up to $1,250 |
(2) Violation of ORS § 561.200 is a Class C misdemeanor.
(3) Violation of ORS § 561.220 or 561.230 is a Class A misdemeanor.
(4) Violation of ORS § 561.590 is a specific fine violation punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000.
