(1) ORS § 645.010, 645.035 and 645.040 apply to persons who sell or offer to sell when:

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 645.025

  • Offer: includes every offer to sell, offer to purchase or offer to enter into a commodity contract or commodity option. See Oregon Statutes 645.005
  • sell: includes every sale, contract of sale, contract to sell or disposition for value. See Oregon Statutes 645.005

(a) An offer to sell is made in this state; or

(b) An offer to buy is made and accepted in this state.

(2) ORS § 645.010, 645.035 and 645.040 apply to persons who buy or offer to buy when:

(a) An offer to buy is made in this state; or

(b) An offer to sell is made and accepted in this state. [1987 c.148 § 19]
