Any lien provided for in ORS § 657.392 and 657.394 may be released, compromised or satisfied by the Director of the Employment Department, and the property against which a lien is claimed shall be released therefrom by filing a notice of such release or satisfaction with the county clerk of the county in which the notice of lien claim was filed. [1997 c.372 § 8]

- employment: includes service that is:
(a) Subject to the tax imposed by the Federal Unemployment Tax Act; or
(b) Required to be covered under this chapter as a condition for employers to receive a full tax credit against the tax imposed by the Federal Unemployment Tax Act. See Oregon Statutes 657.030
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
