Each health professional regulatory board shall notify the appropriate district attorney of any violation of ORS § 676.110, 676.115 and 676.120 that may be brought to the attention of the board. The district attorney of the county in which a violation of ORS § 676.110, 676.115 or 676.120 takes place shall prosecute the violation upon being informed of the violation by a person or by one of the boards.   • Prosecute: To charge someone with a crime. A prosecutor tries a criminal case on behalf of the government.
