For the purposes of the codes of regulations adopted under this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following substitutions shall be made in any code adopted by reference as part of the state building code:
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 455.675
- local government: means all cities, counties and local service districts located in this state, and all administrative subdivisions of those cities, counties and local service districts. See Oregon Statutes 174.116
- State building code: means the combined specialty codes. See Oregon Statutes 455.010
(1) ‘Building official’ for ‘administrative authority.’
(2) ‘Governing body’ for ‘mayor’ and ‘city council.’
(3) ‘Municipality’ for ‘city,’ ‘county’ or other unit of local government. [Formerly 456.875; 1999 c.1045 § 17]
