Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 2-129h
- General election: refers to the election required to be held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

Said levies will be made unless a petition requesting an election upon the proposition of making said levies, signed by electors equal in number to not less than ten percent (10%) of the electors of the county who voted for secretary of state at the last preceding general election, is filed with the county clerk within thirty (30) days following a publication of a resolution to make such a levy.
