- City: means any city in Kansas. See Kansas Statutes 12-1795
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
There is hereby authorized to be created in any city or county of the state, a public building commission. Such public building commission shall be a municipal corporation and shall be created only under the conditions set forth in this act and authorized to exercise the powers provided.
