- Municipality: means any municipality as defined by Kan. See Kansas Statutes 12-17,115
The governing body of any city or county may designate a building within such municipality to be an historic theater if the governing body of the municipality and the secretary of commerce agree that the building satisfies the requirements of subsection (h) of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 12-17,162, and amendments thereto, and will contribute significantly to the economic development of the city and surrounding area or the county.
