(a) This act shall be known and may be cited as the De Soto/Johnson county riverfront authority act.

(b) If any provision of this act is held invalid, such provision shall be deemed to be excised from this act and the invalidity thereof shall not affect any of the other provisions of this act. If the application of any provision of this act to any person or circumstance is held invalid, it shall not affect the application of such provisions to persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is invalid.

Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-5801

  • Authority: means the riverfront authority created by this act. See Kansas Statutes 12-5802
  • County: means Johnson county. See Kansas Statutes 12-5802
  • Riverfront: means all real estate, equipment, rights and property useful for the purpose of recreation, along the banks of the Kansas river that runs through the city of De Soto and Johnson county. See Kansas Statutes 12-5802
