Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 17-1913

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.

Any telegraph company, or any manager, agent or employee thereof, who shall fail or neglect to keep said station open or deliver messages as provided for in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 17-1912 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months.
