  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

An appeal from any final or nonfinal action of the administrator by any person with standing as defined in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 77-611, and amendments thereto, shall be governed by the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 77-601 through 77-627, and amendments thereto.
